Dakota Skye

i just finished watching 'Dakota Skye' and although at first i had my judgments on it b/c the quality of the filming was not superb, thus usually making the material not so great, but even with the predictable lines, it was a.) easily negated w/ awesome, simplistic lines, and/or b.) said in a way that was forgettable (the predictableness, i mean). Definitely when this movie finished I couldn't picture any other word than simple. It put things that stories are often scripted around for like a 1.5-2 hours movie into really really simplistic lines. maybe it's b/c i'm pms-ing, but i felt clarity when watching those lines come out of the movie. it wasn't an epiphany or revelation. i don't feel particularly OH MY GOODNESS THIS MOVIE IS GOD. but i do feel like Huhn. that hits the spot of what i try to say. or it's really honest.

anyway, i try not to declare my love for a movie at least until a day or two afterwards since i tend to like some movies after i see them, but every once in a while i find one i just can't resist in calling a favourite. if i don't find it so later, i will just delete it from my favourites. simple as that.

yeah, so if the chance arises, do watch this. give it a chance before you shun it away as an emo, indie, poorly scripted movie. the acting really surprised me, especially in ian nelson as jonah. (hill haha just kidding.)
